What we do

Most businesses do not have a software problem. They have a joining-up problem. The information exists, usually several times over, in a spreadsheet, an inbox, a filing cabinet and whatever system was bought three years ago. Somebody spends their week moving it from one place to another and checking it on the way.

That is the work we take on. We capture the information once, check it against rules you agree, put the exceptions in front of the person who can decide, and get the rest ready for whatever happens next. Sometimes that is a few connections between tools you already own. Sometimes it is a piece of software built from scratch because nothing off the shelf fits. We will tell you which one you need, including when the answer is neither.

How we work

1. You describe what happens today. In plain English. No specification, no technical brief, and no need to know what the software should be called.
2. We tell you straight whether it is worth doing. Some processes are not worth automating, and a short conversation is cheaper than finding that out later.
3. Scope and price are agreed before any work starts. In writing, for a defined piece of work, so there is no open-ended bill.
4. We start with one task. The one costing you the most repeated effort. It earns the right to the next one.
5. You keep control of the decisions. Automation handles the routine. People handle the judgement. We do not build systems that approve things on your behalf.

What we build with

We work with what you already have wherever that is practical, because replacing working software is expensive and rarely necessary. That usually means Microsoft 365, Excel, email, existing line-of-business systems and whatever your team already knows how to use.

When something genuinely has to be built, we build it properly: a real application, with role-based access so people see only what their job requires, data held in the EU, documents stored against the records they belong to, and backups and recovery planned in from the start rather than added after the first scare.

Who we work with

Small and mid-size businesses where somebody senior is still doing admin that a process should be doing. Owner-managers, office managers, operations and payroll administrators. The work tends to show up in the same places: hours and timesheets, bookings and appointments, forms and requests, certifications and compliance, and the handover points between one person's job and the next.

We are not the right fit for everyone. If you need a large enterprise programme, a team of twenty, or someone to rebuild your entire stack, we will say so and you will not have wasted more than a phone call.

AertaOne is based in Termonfeckin, Co. Louth, and works with businesses throughout Ireland. Discovery conversations happen wherever suits, on site, by video or by email. For work that needs someone in the room we travel.
